Privacy Policy
Effective October 25, 2026
The short version: this site collects as little as possible. There are no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking cookies, and your information is never sold or shared for marketing. We only count how often each photo is downloaded, without recording who downloaded it.
Who we are
londal.co is run by Nicholas Londal, doing business as Nick Londal Photography ("we", "us"). It lets athletes, families and teams view and download sports photos using an access code. Questions about this policy can be sent to nick@londal.co.
What we collect
- Access codes. When you enter a code, we check it against our gallery list. We don't keep a record of the codes you type.
- A session cookie. After you enter a valid code, we set one cookie (
lc_session) that remembers which gallery you can view, so you don't have to re-enter the code. It lasts up to 30 days, contains no personal information, and is deleted when you choose "Use a different code". - Basic server logs. Like nearly every website, our server records technical details of each request: your IP address, the page requested, the time and the response status. We use these only to keep the site running and secure, for example to block repeated wrong guesses at access codes. Logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Download counts. We count how many times each photo is downloaded and how many downloads each gallery gets per hour, so we know which photos people want. These are plain totals. They aren't linked to your IP address, your cookie, your device or anything else that could identify you.
We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details, and we don't create accounts.
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
- We do not use advertising, third-party analytics or social-media tracking cookies, and we don't track individual visitors.
- We do not build profiles of visitors or use your information for marketing.
Service providers
A few trusted providers help us run the site. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address and standard browser information as part of delivering their service:
- Amazon Web Services: hosts our web server.
- Cloudflare: stores and delivers the photos.
- Instagram: only if you click through to our Instagram, or a page shows an embedded Instagram post.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.
Photos of you or your child
Galleries contain photos taken at sporting events, which may include minors. Galleries are not public: they can only be viewed with an access code, and they are hidden from search engines. If you are pictured, or are the parent or guardian of someone who is, and would like a photo removed, email nick@londal.co and we will remove it promptly.
Full-resolution downloads may include standard camera information embedded in the file, such as camera model, lens and the time the photo was taken.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Viewing a gallery doesn't require providing any personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time; the only effect is that you'll need to re-enter your access code. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Since we collect very little, there's usually nothing beyond short-lived server logs. Email nick@londal.co and we'll help.
Security
The site uses HTTPS encryption, galleries are protected by access codes, and photos are served through links that expire. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the site and its content.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
